Inputs

Origin [XYZ ]

This is the ray’s point of origin in the global coordinate system.

Direction [XYZ ]

The ray’s Direction vector in the global coordinate system. If set to 0, 1, 0 the ray would, for example, trace along the global Z Y axis, i.e., upwards.

Max Distance [-∞..+∞m]

The Max Distance setting can be used to limit the ray’s search distance. If the ray does not meet a surface before this value is reached, the Node will output a FALSE signal at the Hit output.

If a value of -1 is applied, the distance limit will be disabled. The ray will then continue throughout the entire scene in the specified direction.
